The sustainable 100% wool LUGA socks come well past the ankle. Wear them in bed, around the house or as extra insulation under slippers.

Dimensions: L30xW14xD0.5cm. Height from heel is approx. 30cm and calf circumference up to S32-M34-L36cm. While the socks will mould gently to the wearer's feet with use, their lifespan will be extended if they are not overstretched.

Care instructions: Machine washable on cool. Do not tumble dry. Separate dark colours.

The dropdown option colour is used for the trim or base colour, and this can be mixed and matched with our main knitwear range. Please note that the cheery colour combinations do vary slightly due to the upcycled nature of the product - every piece is unique and we think they are all lovely! Our hand-knitted products are made from 100% sheep wool. The shades of grey, brown and cream are completely natural, while other colours are produced using azo-free dyes. Wool fabrics are resilient and easy care, providing low temperatures are used, and retain their natural qualities of insulation, breathability and elasticity. Due to its natural antibacterial properties, wool naturally resists odours and requires infrequent laundering. Wool is one of the most sustainable fabrics in existence; renewable and biodegradable, it requires relatively little water for its production. Our wool is mulesing free.

Handmade by artisans within a World Fair Trade Organization certified collective in Kathmandu, Nepal. Our hand-knitted products are made by women who knit the pieces at home, working around their family commitments. This provides them with an income to help their families. Urmila coordinates the team of women, training them to produce each style and distributing the yarn and materials.
