Featuring a few Japanese cranes looking for food in a body of water, this vintage kuro tomesode brings some interesting styles to life. The pattern features traditional wave patterns that resemble ukiyo-e woodblock prints, and the herons are highly detailed.

This one also has a hiyoku, which is the extra thick layer of fabric at the bottom, which adds extra protection to the outer layer.
